As I was carrying out my morning routine on the web, I surfed across the New York Times’s Magazine section onto their “The 10th Annual Year in Ideas” article. Millions of creatives exist in the world (I have classes with 13 of them) and it’s great to hear about their new ideas. Maybe some ideas should stay on paper or never be mentioned at all, while others, even if they are a fail, just need to be made. Like how one of my professors says it, “Well it’s not working, but we just had to try it out.” This would be said about the Youth Condom right? Well, it’s a great idea for the smaller folk, right? But why target 13-15 year old boys Swiss government? (The HotShot…read it for yourself.)
Going back to Slow Cow. I want to try a drink. Perhaps after reading a few reviews, but it should be safe, especially if they have three celebrity endorsements, right? I know a lot of people who could use a swig, including myself. But what I really like about this drink is the logo. How hilarious is it? Very. The cows, not drawn so great (can’t really tell though from the small graphics) but they’re entertaining and expresses the idea of the drink well. And it’s functional too, it can be presented both horizontally and vertically.
